Our sun is dying, Earth faces extinction.
Seven years ago the Icarus project sent a mission to restart the sun, but that mission is lost before it reach the star.
Sixteen months ago I, Robert Capa, and a crew of seven left Earth frozen in a solar winter. Our payload - a stellar bomb with a mass equivalent to Manhattan Island.
Our purpose - To create a star.. Within a star.
I guess not many will recognize this particular scene from the movie Sunshine xD But I thought it was a cool perspective and pose.. But yeah, That's pretty much what it was. It was hard to make the background look interesting. It's a control room of some sort, with a cool interface, were Robert calculated the chances of them succesfully delivering the payload into the Sun.
They had recieved a message from the previous Icarus project 1. Its payload was intact and they wanted to find out if there were any survivors or at least some food left on board.
The crew awaited Roberts report on wether it was a good idea or not to risk the mission to go see if they could salvage anything. Since the chances to deliever their payload were 50/50 it was like throwing a coin and see if it were heads or tails. Yeah.
They will soon find out that Roberts decision about inspecting Icarus 1 might not've been such a good idea.
Anyway, tried to recreate that scene as good as I could xD The interface was actually pretty fun to fill out - pasted in some screenshots of random programs.. Hehe. Lazy but cool.
The whole picture is kinda bland overall.. But yeh, hope you like it anyway ^^
