I'm not sure where I'll be heading in this journal, but these are just my feels, okay? As naive as I might be, I've never really been put down for my drawing hobby before. Sure, there might be those school teachers who rebuke me for drawing during lessons, but that's it. Call me lucky or clueless, but I grew up in a very conducive milieu that encouraged me to draw. As a kid, my parents were delighted that I took up drawing, although they banned me from taking it up as a career (I know, it's for my own good and all), and even sent me to art classes for a few years. The sudden fad of artists cat-fighting for the most petty reasons is really starting to get on my nerves. This kind of thing has been going before I even first joined DA but I've been ignoring most of it because reasons idk BUT NOW I think I'm nearing red harvest so I really could not resist ranting about the #1 reason I'm mostly inactive here and get discouraged about people because I'm too fucking sensitive like that.
I can't be two seconds on DA or Tumblr without being bombarded with shit about all sorts of groups of deviants and their hordes of white-knights/friends going at it because people can't just draw and do what this site is meant for without triggering some OMGdArama!!!!111 or without flaunting their dACLIQUES~~~..

Leporidae Mortis is......not my real name.
If you google this phrase, my dA comes up...along with the several twitter/facebook sites who have reblogged/reposted my artwork and attributing it to "Leporidae Mortis." This is certainly my fault for trying to be clever as I put that under "Real Name" on my dA profile (it's been removed now).
Let me put the myth to rest. Leporidae Mortis is a latin phrase my roommate and I came up with in a spur of the moment after taking a year of latin and a bit too eager to exercise our new-found limited vocabulary. Leporidae is the Family name for over 60 species of rabbits and hares. Mortis is the declined (conjugated; genitive) form of mors, "death." Essentially, the phrase means, Rabbit of Death; sound familiar?
(P.S. I would also really appreciate it if people at least notified me when they repost my stuff and/or followed copyright law . ): ...on the other hand, I wouldn't get funny surprises like this...)

Moving, and Kitty AIDSIt's been one of those days -_-. my "future landlord" who's been helping me get a house, JUST realized today that hey.. my lease needs to be renewed hrm.. very VERY soon. -_- she hadn't even read my lease yet even though I handed it to her a month or two ago. (along with my lease renewal papers that I need back -_-) So I got sent another list of houses today.. minus the one I really wanted T_T... and guess what? Every single listing was either a lot (that I'm not interested in.. duh), or a house that's smaller or the exact same size as mine -_- I need a bigger house! My stuff barely fits in this one -_- as I discovered while looking at the listings today - a single wide trailer is BIGGER THAN MY HOUSE. Sorry, yelling. Frustrated. So it looks like I may have to live here another year. I am not happy about that. :/

Anyways this is partly why I haven't been active much (compared to how active I usually am//) I've been thinking and thinking and thinking about this a lot .. it's been bugging me and bothering me lately to no end...

Aanyways, forgive the frequent journal entries from me, but I kinda thought of this starting like...fifteen minutes ago.
So, as everyone clearly knows, or should, many people listen to music that is not in their native language.
Best example could be how :iconkuritsutei: and I listen to alot of japanese music. Clearly, we aren't japanese. And no, I don't wish that I was.
But the point is, when most students at my school hear any foreign music, they immediate make fun of it or reject it because they don't understand what is being said. (Or sung)
I'm way different when it comes to that. I personally don't care what it being said. If it sounds good, I'll listen to it. I don't necessarily have to know the translation of the lyrics to enjoy it.
